How long does it take to register a domain?
Most TLDs activate within seconds. Some ccTLDs like .co.ug may take a few hours for full DNS propagation worldwide.
Do I own the domain after registration?
Yes. You are the legal registrant and full owner. We only act as your registrar and never claim ownership of your domain.
Can I transfer a domain I bought elsewhere?
Absolutely. Unlock your domain at your current registrar, get the EPP or auth code, and start the transfer in your Baasa Cloud client area. We handle the rest.
Is WHOIS privacy really free?
Yes, free for life, on every domain that supports it. Your address and phone number stay private; spammers cannot scrape them.
What happens if I forget to renew?
We email you at 60, 30, 7, and 1 day before expiry. After expiry, most TLDs have a 30 day grace period during which you can still renew without penalty.
